Returns and Refunds Policy

This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines the terms under which Conservative Friends of Education (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles refund requests for membership subscriptions and merchandise purchased through our website.

Membership Subscriptions

Cancellation Within 14 Days

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at sj@cfoe.co.uk with your cancellation request. A full refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request.

Cancellation After 14 Days

If you wish to cancel your membership after the 14-day cooling-off period, please contact us. Refunds after this period are issued at our discretion and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your membership period.

Renewal Cancellations

If your membership renews automatically and you wish to cancel, you may do so before the renewal date. If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend, please contact us within 14 days and we will process a full refund.

Merchandise and Products

Returns

If you have purchased merchandise through our website, you may return unused and undamaged items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in resaleable condition.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage costs.

Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked delivery service when returning items.

Event Tickets

Refunds for event tickets are subject to the specific terms and conditions of each event. Please refer to the event listing for details. In general, refund requests made more than 7 days before the event will be considered favourably.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at sj@cfoe.co.uk with your name, order or membership reference, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 working days.

Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

We may update this Returns and Refunds Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
